Assessing the franchise opportunity
Ahmed’s role began with assessing a drinks-franchise opportunity. The assignment was not simply to manage a ready-made kiosk: it covered opportunity, contract, site, licensing and fit-out.
Contract and location
Ahmed led negotiation and contracting, selected a station site on the Dammam Road in Riyadh, and followed the lease and operational fit-out requirements.
Before the first day of trading
Ahmed followed licensing and fit-out through until the site became a working kiosk. These stages belong together: a contract does not replace readiness, and fit-out does not replace licensing.

Launch is followed by operations
After launch, Ahmed managed day-to-day operations, accounts and follow-through as Project Manager. Work was covered across morning and evening shifts.

Ahmed’s role and the team’s
Ahmed led the project from opportunity assessment to launch and managed operations and accounts; the staff covered the shifts.
Opening is a moment. A business is built in what happens afterwards.
